The location of OPG “MAJHEN” is in the village of Kopačevo, Košut Lajoša 19, Municipality Bilje, 350 meters from the reception center JUPP “KOPAČKI RIT”, the most preserved floodplain in Europe. On an area of 4400 m2, there is a 400 m2 tourist house, with a hall with a capacity of 80 seats, toilets and all the necessary infrastructure for a pleasant short or long stay.

The main activity of our OPG is accommodation in rooms. The total capacity is 12 people (rooms ¼ + 1/3 + 1/3 + ½) all with WC. All are equipped with basic equipment, heating/cooling and televisions.

An important part of our offer is the preparation of hot and cold meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) from our own products. The size of the space allows us to serve up to 80 guests at the same time. The outdoor area is richly decorated with collections of objects from the past (wooden objects, agricultural and fishing tools, ceramics and pottery and a large collection of wooden figures made in the style of naive art) that are characteristic of this region. A large parking lot with 24 spaces provides easy access for guests and guarantees the safety of vehicles during their stay. The period in which we perform our activity is throughout the year.

We also thought about additional activities for individual guests and groups, and we have all the equipment for recreation:

– 12 classic bikes

– 8 e – bikes

– 6 two-seater canoes

– fishing boat with a capacity of 5 people

– tourist van with a capacity of 8 people

As good hosts, we made sure to educate ourselves as best as possible for the best possible presentation of our region. In our family, we have three licensed tourist guides (guide language: Croatian and English) and we have licenses for bicycle guides and skippers – boat managers on the Danube and Drava.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES OF RURAL TOURISM

Production of unique and useful items from Slavonian oak, walnut and exotic types of wood such as benches, coffee tables, tables, meat cutting boards, etc.

We are also engaged in beekeeping and have our own beehives, we produce various types of honey, some of which are very specific, such as flower honey from the alluvial meadows of Kopački rit.

We work and process lavender and have dried flowers and various creams based on lavender, wax, and oil.

We produce vegetables in our own garden and fruit from our orchard. In the preparation of meals, we use food purchased from local producers (eggs, cheese, bacon, etc.)

WHO ARE OUR GUESTS?

People from all over the world, mostly from Europe (Hungary, Slovenia, Austria, Poland) on a trip to the Adriatic who want a short or long vacation in our area. Hunters, fishermen and bird lovers are attracted to this corner of the world rich in flora and fauna. People from our country who want to see what is there to experience, eat and drink in Baranja.

The target groups are families and anyone looking for an activity of varying intensity (cycling, canoeing, walking, fishing and hunting). Many manifestations such as Fisherman’s Days, Advent in Kopački rit, Ethnic Fest of Bilje, Pepper Festival in Lug, various fishing competitions on Lake Bilj, from local to international events, events in nearby Osijek are a magnet that attracts tourists. We have all the benefits of good infrastructure and connections with the big cities of our region, the C-5 highway and the Osijek airport in the immediate vicinity, and we have access by waterway, located between the two large rivers Drava and Danube.
